This cafe is one of our favourites and provides very reasonably priced tasty food. The salmon sausage rolls are divine. My kids think the chips are the best in Tasmania, probably Australia too.

Roz Brett and staff are always welcoming. Pies are made on site along with loads of other delicious food. Not your standard meat pie - so many too choose from. Home made cakes and slices change weekly.

Called in with friends as we were too lazy to cook. We decided on hamburgers on the lot for 3. We didn't eat there as one of the party was unwell. We took our burgers home along with two scallop pies. The burgers were moist and delicious and very filling. The curried scallop pies were full and unlike a previous... More

During our trip to the Huon valley we discovered a hidden gem among the wonderful eateries of southern tassie called the Port Huon Cafe. We started most of our days with a cooked breakfast as this would often hold us through to late afternoon when it was time to start snacking and drinking. The Port Huon Cafe serves up a... More

We stopped for a trip coffee. We saw scallop pies and ended up having garlic prawn and scallop pie. Very light pastry and tasty filling. Worth the stop. Fast and friendly country cafe.

Nothing special from the road but step inside and enjoy a warm welcome. In many ways, a step back in time and all the better for it. A proud display of awards from local shows is unsurprising in view of the quality of the pie ($1 for gravy is worth it)

Stopped on the way to Hastings caves. The big breakfast had a ton of bacon and gorgeous tomatoes. Hit the spot and set me up for a day of exploring. Good value and great taste. Looks to be a good place forpiesand baked good as well.

This would have to be the best maker of fresh pies in the world! The pastry is buttery, flakey and just the right texture not to interfere with the taste of the fillings. The Prawn and Scallop filling has large moist succulent prawns and scallops with a creamy garlic sauce, a must to try. The staff are exceptional, with the... More
