The wife and I decided to try something different on a Friday night last month and tried the Deutsche Ecke. The Cordon Bleu doesn't disappoint. If you're in Radcliff and have a taste for great German food absolutely stop by the Deutsche Ecke. For the reasons listed above, the Deutsche Ecke goes on my AAD (Absolutely Another Dime) list.

The atmosphere was probably my favorite thing about this restaurant. I've never been to Germany, but this had to be the closest thing to it. The walls are lined with German goods and candies and it all felt very authentic. The food was top notch! I already can't wait to go back.

Once upon a time, because Fort Knox used to be the US Army's Armor Training Center, there used to be more German "stuff" around. This little restaurant is one of the few little gems left and it's well worth trying out for lunch. Seating can be a little tight but it's sort of a cool quirky thing that I think... More

Great food. We had the schnitzel with gravy, spicy potatoes, and mixed veggies/Brussel sprouts. It's buffet style, so the food is in a warmer and available as soon as you come in... which made the schnitzel just a little chewy, but overall it was great. Would have given a 5 star review but they didn't have high chairs and we... More

If you want to enjoy a good German meal, this is the place to go. Good prices and good food. From the schnitze to the German cakes.

Family atmosphere, and authentic German food, however side salads are small. Love that German dill salad dressing.

My husband and I ate here and loved it. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table but it was well worth it. A man came in behind us and the owner asked if it was ok for the man to sit with us again our table. We were fine with it. Made us feel like we were... More

They'll even speak Deutsch if you want. German beer and food. I wanted dessert, but nowhere to fit it.

Food is excellent here. I had the schnitzel with sides of spicy potato and corn casserole. The rolls are fantastic. Gravy is very good. Desserts looked awesome but I didn't try one. The inside is a little cramped and tables are large like in Germany. I went at lunchtime and you order at the counter from a selection in the... More

I recently returned from a tour in Germany and was hankering for some schnitzel. The owner is from just north of Frankfurt and it wonderfully shows in the fare. Additionally, the interior is straight out of Bavaria...from benches, desserts, and bier glasses. The place was packed when I arrived. Took 30 minutes to get a seat. Well worth the wait.
