Always good. Always happy with food here. Wish they had salmon patties every day. Yum. Always healthy choices as well as comfort food. Reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. Wish they had more parking.

Family restaurant, home cookin' style food. You can order sandwiches, or go through the hot food line. Price breakdown is for your choice of meat with 1, 2, 3, or 4 veggies. Big portions, includes roll or cornbread. I had the pork chop, which was breaded and fried and as big as a dinner plate. I also had mashed potatoes,... More

This is a popular restaurant in downtown Richmond. Lots of people were there getting take out from the cafeteria type line. There was also waitress served seating. It offers classic comfort food. I would not seek it out again but it was fine.

Best place in Richmond for lunch. Family friendly and affordable. The pies are the perfect way to end the meal too, but we always have to get them to go. Our meals always fills us up.

Came into town on Friday and needed some dinner before going to our hotel. It wasn't what I expected it to look like. I was thinking more restaurant than diner. But the food was so good. I had catfish, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, greens and broccoli with cheese. I've never had catfish or mashed potatoes at a restaurant that tasted... More

We decided to check this place out because the high ratings. It's filthy and the food was gross. I don't think I have ever eaten in a restaurant that was that dirty.

We just went for dinner tonight. The food choices were numerous, the quality was homemade and the prices were very, very reasonable! We had such friendly servers and felt very welcome there. What an excellent place to go for a great meal! Loved the homemade dessert, too! Try the peanut butter pie.

I was hesitant to go to Jacksons but my hotel clerk assured me that it was great place. The few negative reviews had to be of the wrong place because Jacksons was really good. I ate from the food bar and the food was hot and fresh. This is a place you have to go to if ever in Richmond.... More

Good home cooking at great prices. The veggies are well cooked and plenty of choices. The meatloaf is great, the pork chops look better than they taste. Seating can be crowded. Prices are cheap!

A must visit place in Richmond. Best home cooking you can buy. Great variety and wonderful service. We try to visit at least once a month.
