I really enjoyed my meal. The place was quiet, cozy and the music was great. The waitress was extra nice. The catfish and blackberry cobbler was excellent. All the food was good. Nice place.

My sister lives in Louisville, we live in Atlanta and were in search of a place between Louisville & Lexington for lunch, Melissa's was a great choice! The menu offered sandwiches, salads & more, including some specials our server shared. We don't make it back to our home state a lot, so our daughter decided the roasted pepper bisque and... More

Traveling with my husband on business we stopped in for dinner at Melissa's and had a delicious meal! There are specials and lots of great variety on the menu! My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veg. He raved about it! He could not eat it all the servings were so large and believe me... More

We were touring the Kentucky horse country and stopped in Versailles to look around and have lunch. Melissa's was a very good choice for lunch. The service was friendly and professional. We ordered the soup special for the day, tortilla, and a BLT and fries. The portions were good and the food hot and tasty. There was a good crowd... More

I had not been to Melissa's for some years. Was in Lexington and decided to revisit. It's not hard to find, still small and cozy. The meat loaf was really good, but I was very disappointed in the desert we chose. I had bread pudding which was mush, and the pecan pie was nothing to write home about. This said,... More

Our group of 5 had breakfast here, food good and service excellent. Lots of regulars there and owner walked around and talked to everyone. Very reasonable prices.

Excellent food, great service, charming atmosphere, home cooking menu, all in a cozy downtown family owned diner style restaurant. We loved it.

Restaurant was quite busy so we took a table outside. Meals were tasty & plentiful, staff friendly and helpful, dessert was delicious. Service was quick and efficient without feeling rushed.

My wife and I came here for lunch with our kids and grands on the way to Keeneland Race Track. It's in the middle of the old town. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. Good menu with many choices. I had the Patty Melt and it was delicious. Between 12 and 1 it got very crowded... More
