Excellent food, great service, charming atmosphere, home cooking menu, all in a cozy downtown family owned diner style restaurant. We loved it.

Restaurant was quite busy so we took a table outside. Meals were tasty & plentiful, staff friendly and helpful, dessert was delicious. Service was quick and efficient without feeling rushed.

My wife and I came here for lunch with our kids and grands on the way to Keeneland Race Track. It's in the middle of the old town. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. Good menu with many choices. I had the Patty Melt and it was delicious. Between 12 and 1 it got very crowded... More

Quiet place in the middle of down town...the food was good and the bill reasonable. Try it, you'll like it!

Melissa's never disappoints. Quaint & cozy atmosphere, terrific service & yummy food! You must ask to see their dessert selections - it's worth going just for dessert! We enjoy taking our out of town guests to Melissa's & they always have great comments about their visit.

This traditional restaurant looks like a doll House and a 50s mostly homemade food. Simple, unpretentious and just delicious. It should also be noted that healthy options (salads, grenés, fruits) are very much put forward in the menu. The service is done quickly, but it is also friendly with a touch of class. Highly recommended.

We have tried this place multiple times and have given up. It's a local favorite ,so we are asked often to go. It's just not our cup of tea. The staff is friendly ,but the food is very plain. I know many people that love it, so I guess it just depends on your palette.

This has new owners in the past year or so, therefore, the ratings from that point forward are important. It is very small and simple. Nothing fancy. The food and service were very good for lunch. We would return here.

We were on our way to collect bourbon barrel trail stamps and were gong to bypass the town of Versailles around lunch time so decided to go a few miles out of our way to stop at Melissa Cottage Cafe in the middle of downtown Versailles as the address states Main Street.. We were here a few years ago and... More

The food and service are always consistently great. They have a ton of homemade pies to choose from so if you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you in Versaillles.
