I'm only giving this place a 2 because the food was good and our waitress was so sweet. Me and my boyfriend went to eat at this restaurant 9/13/14 at 730pm. We waited the 45 minutes and in the mean time had a wonderful glass of wine, which we did not mind at all. After about 30 minutes the owner... More

We've been here twice in the last year. This place does not take reservations, so get here early if you do not want to wait for a table. The bar is always crowded and they have a great local following. Rightly so! We ordered a Sazerac and a slightly dirty martini. They were outstanding. We were served their homemade bread.... More

Where the locals go for Italian! Great wine list - soft shell crab- Sunday brunch too! outside sit under AC fans - Mike at the bar- lawyers and professionals but very homey and olde world feel in Baton Rouge-

Authentic Italian meals served timely and with reasonable serving sizes. Had special, poached veal with an out of this world sause. Highly recommend to all Italian food lovers. Be prepared for a wait during busy hours. Has lovely outdoor patio with misters to keep you cool. This is a local's favorite and is always packed with local regulars. Ask for... More

We used to like Di Giulio's but tonight's dinner was a flop. There is no recovering from mistakes like these. I ordered the grouper with brown butter caper sauce. What I got was a small bland piece of grouper with no flavor, certainly no brown butter, topped with a pile of salty cold capers right out of the jar. The... More

Love the food. The atmosphere is loud and crowded though. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, this is not it.

Eh, I've never had a "5 TripAdvisor dots" meal here. Another tiny Italian restaurant in a cute area of town (near campus), this affordable (but not cheap) Italian restaurant offers a good meal for the price. Weekends can get packed. There are always a group of regulars in there. Atmosphere is small and intimate. Food is good, service is what... More

I have been here several times with my boyfriend, and we have NEVER been disappointed. It is not your mainstream Olive Garden style italian restuarant. It has a very intimate, romantic and authentic italian atmosphere.-dim lighting, lit candles, excellent wine selection. Although like some of the other reviews, it is a smaller restaurant with tables near each other. The outside... More

This is a great little place. Very typical of a New York neighborhood restaurant. Everything is tremendous the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It does get busy so be prepared to wait a bit but it certainly worth it. One of the best places in Baton Rouge to eat..
