Good menu selection: burgers, salads, local fare. Had a nice selection of the local beers. Staff friendly and I received my food promptly. Ordered the chicken sandwich.

Like, seriously. These pork chops are the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Mind-blowingly good!

Stopped by here after dinner for a drink with hubby. Wonderful friendly staff (thanks Austin), and amazing happy hour with generous offerings Monday through Fridays 4-7. Half off apps, five dollar martinis, two dollar domestic beer, three dollar house wines and well liquors. It's worth stop in!

We dined here with family and had a pleasant experience overall, but weren't impressed by the food. Service was friendly and efficient. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and were pleased with the flavor, but it was small for more than two people. The fish tacos sounded great but were overcooked, lacked seasoning, and were very dry. They're... More

Sitting at the Capital City Grill eating the best Red Beans and Rice that I have ever had with the Mississippi River just over the levee, it was easy to imagine life as it was in old Baton Rouge. Service was very good although I have to say it was late for lunch hour. I learned from my friend that... More

Dinner selections were tempting, making it difficlut to choose. Outside dining with no waiting on one night, but needed resrvations the following evening. Servicewas excellent as was the food.

The service has always been bad, but this was the last straw. When I told the host, "Table for one," he asked if I'd just like to sit at the bar. The restaurant was maybe half full, but there were a lot of people eating outside, so I agreed, thinking that it would be faster. There were two or three... More

This restaurant was 'ok'. I had the beef tenderloins in a wine sauce. The sauce was congealed as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. My husband's fish was undercooked, but @ least my son's seafood pasta was ok...guess you can't go wrong with pasta.

So my first visit I ate lunch and they were busy and wanted to eat outside since it was so nice, was told they had no tables when I saw plenty. I'm sure being just one person they didn't want to seat me there. Food was excellent though. But maybe a bit overpriced for what I got. I ate the... More

Ended up here because another choice was booked. No major complaints but nothing much to brag about. The environment was nice and the staff was good. The crawfish cornbread was great...everything else just okay.
