The menu here is somewhat limited, but the salmon (basically the only thing that appealed to me) was very good. The hush puppies and the bread pudding were both excellent. Service was good, but reservations would have been a good idea on Friday night (they...More

When Capital City Grill opened in downtown Baton Rouge several years ago, we were among its first fans. The décor was varied and urbane, appropriate for a romantic dinner, family meal, or solitary snack. The staff was friendly and professional. The menu offered classic southern...More

Very busy during lunch time, but we sat at the bar. Fantastic food, service is slow, but would come back.

Try the Crawfish Etouffee. It was to die for! The server was a little slow but the wonderful food made up for it.

Good cheerful service, perfectly decent food, and prices certainly not too high. The ceilings are very high and there's no sound proofing, so when the place is full, the echoed sound of happy diners is almost deafening - didn't spoil the visit though.

We were shown this place by a very nice gentlemen about 8:00 pm. He said they had good food and was reasonable. We were not disappointed.

All the restaurants we picked were good but this was my favoraite. I had an Oyster Poboy with a side of Maque Choux and Crawfish Cornbread. The oyster melted in my mouth. Maque Choux is a littled spicy but still very good. After having the...More
