Stopped by after seeing its ranking on TripAdvisor. Highly recommend the shabang plate. It comes with a little bit of everything. Tue Louisiana food!

Yumm, good cajun food, service, atmosphere. Passing through town, we met friends and tried alligator and po boys. Everything was really good and would recommend.

Best fried shrimp in town! We don't even look at the menu. Coleslaw is great. Give it a try. Also try the house remolaude dressing or the pepper jelly vinegatette for your salad

Went there at 8PM on Tuesday night, it was packed. We had to wait for 50 minutes to be seated, which is fine as it's a popular place. The problem is food. We ordered whole shebang, poboy, grilled oyster, etc. first one basically is bunch of fried stuff (fish, shrimp, etc), I have to say my local Canjun restaurant does better... More

Recommended by the hotel we were staying in and what a good choice. Good setting, great beer, superb staff as we sat in the bar area, and the food was delicious. Oysters to die for!!

We were only in Baton Rouge for a night and decided to try Parrain's out. We got there around 6:30 and were told we had a 40 minute wait. Place was overflowing with people but we were called to be seated after 25 minutes. Service and food were excellent considering how crazy the place was. I had the shrimp, crawfish... More
