I've been a regular here for more than a decade. Customize your own burrito with good (and healthy ingredients). Excellent value

Went here with some coworkers for the first time. Food is really good. Decent portions. Pulled pork burrito bowl was amazing. Lots of good sauces to choose from, the illegal sauce is HOT! Slightly more than chipotle but worth it.

I ordered through uber eats. I ordered one of the 3 tacos plus a shrimp burrito. I understand the food not being completely hot due to it being delivered through uber eats but the chicken in my tacos were cold. It was cooked properly and...well, but they were as cold as if someone took them from a fridge and threw them on my tacos. The burrito was good too, but it was also a bit cold. I’d only eat from them if you’re eating in (or at the mall) because I feel only then there’d be a guarantee it’d be hot.More

The food was definitely worth the price. I had shrimp nachos and the serving size was enough for two for 10 bucks. So they get a A from me.

Great place for entertainment. This is an usual place to eat. Everything thing is centered around an illegal chose of wording. It's really funny just to read the descriptions of the food. Mainly a burrito place where you can pick from a large selection of...vegetables, beef, chicken, pork, beans, etc., which is very good but it is the fun is just reading the menu. Most enjoyable for a quick place for food and they have beer and margaritas.More

Had a quick lunch with the wife at Izzo's. Probably one of my favorite places to have a burrito. You have your choice of several different tortillas both in flavor and size. There is a variation of meats such as beef, steak, chicken, or a...combination. You basically go down the line and the staff builds your burrito what ever you want on it. Most people can barely finish the regular burrito which is large let alone the super burrito which is larger or if you really have an appetite the illegal burrito which is huge. You can add chips and a drink with salsa for couple dollars more. There are several different types of salsa from the very mild to the illegal which is habanero.if you're ever in Baton Rouge Izzo's is it great lunch place.More

Every Izzo's I've ever been to has been great! The prices are reasonable, and my wife and I can share a Super Felony Burrito (a giant multi-tortilla monstrosity of a burrito) and still have left-overs. I would highly recommend Izzo's to anyone who likes burritos...or quesadillas and hasn't tried it yet.More

We love Izzo's here in Baton Rouge. We find the food good, fresh, and the large burrito can be shared by my husband and I. It tastes as good as home cooking. Inexpensive family fare. What can you complain about?

Not for tourists who are looking to wine and dine Baton Rouge or experience a southern Louisiana culture. This burrito joint is primarily focused around an "on the move" crowd, or college crowd pinching pennies. That being said, I don't think I've ever had a...bad meal here. Typical meal will run you about $10-12, and about 30-45 minutes. You stand in line and pick your ingredients for your burrito while someone prepares it right in front of you. They also offer quesadillas, nachos, tacos, etc. - typical Mexican fare, but this place is all about their burrito. I prefer this to other "design your own" burrito places in the area by far, but would only recommend this to locals and tourists looking for a truly "college town" experience. Not a very large alcohol selection at all for those looking to do some drinking, but they do offer some select beers and frozen margaritas. I wouldn't really peg this as a place to go drinking, though. Southwest caesar makes a great addition to anything on the menu, so give that a shot.More
