Visit to BreauBridge was planned to stop at Mulates. Alas, it is no longer but we thought we would try Pont Breaux which is what it is now called.. No music except Thurs. to Sat. Food kind of uninspired - just so so. Very good waitress. Not sure we'll go back.

Overall, the restaurant had good atmosphere and the Cajun music was moving. But, rating the servers, they seemed as though they were more in the mood for the evening to be over. I was half disappointed but, the food was good.

My husband and I stopped at pont breaux Cajun restaurant today and the food was just awful. I ordered the seafood gumbo(shrimp and crabmeat) the crab was so strong and tasted like fish!! So I sent it back. The waitress was very sweet and brought me chicken and sausage gumbo In its place----zero seasoning. Tasted like very dark roux and... More

We ate there twice during our visit to the area. We love to boil crawfish & they had the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Loved being able to listen to live music & watch people dance.

Very disappointed. The food was editable. The stuffed potato was just a baked potato with a slice of cheese on top. I never got the salad that went with the meal. The waitress walked by and did not .stop to see if we needed anything . Would not recommend going there .

We came here a couple years on a family vacation. When we were eating, Hunter Hayes randomly walked in with Lee Benoit. They both sat with us after walking around and talked to us for a few minutes. Along with great food, we were accompanied with great musicians which made our restaurant experience the coolest.

We had the grilled alligator appetizer and our family loved it. The seafood Gumbo had a lot of oil floating in it and I don't know how to describe the broth, maybe a bit bland, just didn't taste quite right. I do have to say though that we showed up 30 minutes before closing time. Our waitress was very nice... More

Great food, great service and great music. Served by a really nice waitress, food was served promptly and we tried the local produce including alligator which was sooooo nice. Traditional Cajun music made the night.

Our server was very pleasant and prompt. Catfish grilled and with shrimp étouffée were both tasty, cooked just right and good size portions. Stuffed potato and rice came with platters. Bread pudding was rich with vanilla sauce. Glad we came and didn't listen to other reviews Cajun Music started at 7:00 quite upbeat

We stopped a few years back and were disappointed. This trip was perfect. Great food great entertainment friendly service glad we tried again. I had the shrimp oyster brochettes and it was the most adventurest meal of my life. WOW. My suggestion would be try something new you just never know. Put this on your list of must stop.
