Good food reasonably priced, friendly staff. Big enclosed beer garden to sit out in the sun. Dog friendly.

just returned from a holiday and were treated to sunday lunch at the wheatsheaf with all the family as usual the standard was great and the service always good the staff are very helpful and the food very good and good value

Went for dinner. Roast was amazing, portions were massive and service was great. You couldnt fault the Ploughmans either. Will be going back and recommending to others

This Inn has an attractive garden and an unspoilt traditional interior the food is good quality traditional English cooking and there is a good range of beers and ciders staff are helpful and there is regular live music and entertainment events

Return visit to this pleasant pub. Lovely afternoon with family, a table of ten, but i would not recommend the food, my roast chicken was terrible such a shame as staff were really good.
