Was invited here for a business lunch and glad after the visit. Seems this is an institution in New Orleans food-lore.....to add to the literally hundreds of other food institutions in New Orleans. Nice bar as you walk in by the way but this was a working lunch. A few in my party of four had been here before and... More

I called around 8 pm on a Friday to see if they could handle the 4 of us and they could. The waitress was fabulous and took care of our needs promptly. We had different choices, but I was surprised to have grilled crab cakes, which were Simply Fabulous! What a great choice. Free parking is on premise and it's... More

We ordered the fried catfish which was outstanding and the coleslaw was some of the best we've ever had. This was a special they had for Fridays and the portions were large.

It was very busy for a Saturday night dinner. We had about a 20 minute wait. The service was very good. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal----from hamburger steak to seafood platter to seared duck to pork chops, etc. The atmosphere was pleasant but got a little loud due to a packed house. Pricing was reasonable and affordable.

Located on the outskirts of old Gretna, Cafe 615 is a great westbank lunch location. As you walk in there is a bar area and to your left is the dining room. During the lunch rush, the volume in the dining room is very high. On my last trip I went for a business lunch and it was a bit... More

Staff was friendly, food is delicious and reasonable priced... Beer was ice cold. I had the Thursday night special with a cup of the best turtle soup I've had.
