This restaurant is inside the Golden Nugget Casino. I made reservations online, was seated as soon as we arrived. Coralie was out waitress, and she took great care of us. We opted for calamari for an appetizer,and it was cooked perfectly. The we had a...redfish dish with green beans, and Shrimp Cappaline. We shared the dishes, and both were fabulous ! We were celebrating a friend's birthday and met for dinner on a Friday night. Erica B was our server and she had her hands full with our party of 6. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. We had a few dietary requests...and they were met with no questions asked! The appetizers, drinks, and meal were served within a reasonable time considering it was a Friday night. Erica did an outstanding job with all of our requests and provided excellent customer service with a smile!More

Outstanding service. Chef Mimi is fabulous helped us out so much on suggestions for celiac/ gluten and prepared a fabulous meal for us.Can not say enough how wonderful she and Marie, Erica and staff were. I highly recommend Grotto and Chef Mimi. Will be back...soon.More

Atmosphere and bar were great, service is excellent as usual. Unfortunately my meal was not good, ordered a new dish (fritto misto) which is a combination fried seafood platter, no seasoning, bland and soggy.

We were surprised by the extensive menu of Italian specialties on the menu. The atmosphere was subdued and relatively quiet considering the casino very near its entrance. We split the fried calamari appetizer (very large) and it was very good. We both had the Shrimp...& Crab Capellini entree and it was outstanding. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was light and very favorable and there was a generous amount of lump white crabmeat in the dish along with the grilled shrimp. The warm homemade bread slices with an olive oil dip was also very tasty. This place is more like an old fashioned Italian restaurant than a casino operation.More

The food and service are always delicious. I especially like the pizza's and sausage pasta. Lunch or dinner is always a good time for their "WOW" deserts!

I've been going to the Golden Nugget for years. Today, 8/23/19, I received the best service I have ever received at any restaurant. Erica and Maria were the most pleasant people I could have ever had a dining experience with.

This was our first visit, wait staff very professional and knowledgeable. The bread they brought out before our dinner was hot from their brick oven, the dipping sauce was excellent it had garlic, basil and red pepper flakes, great combination. My wife ordered the Lasagna,...I had a taste of the sauce it was in, best marinera sauce I have ever tasted, and the Lasagna was flavorful. My dinner was the Veal Luis, it was also great tasting, it was Parmasan lightly crusted, with mushrooms, fettuccine Alfredo, lemon and spinach. I would recommend anything with their home made sauce. Great atmosphere, noise level average.More

With much excitement, only because I have eaten MANY times at The Grotto in Las Vegas and love it, I was looking forward to eating here. By far not the best experience or up to par service that you would want to deal with. Started...off by being told that my wait for a table would be up to a 45 minutes, after well over a hour I question how much longer to be told, they forget about me. After being seated and asked what to drink, we again waited 20 mins to actually get drinks. Dinner was brought out one dish at a time with a 15 minute wait between that the waitress seemed to forget that we were still waiting on. Refills on drinks were only gotten by my husband going up to the bar to order another one. When lack of service was brought up to the attention of the waitress, she seemed completely puzzled and unbothered that only next step was to talk to the manager Alexander. This visit left me completely disappointed.More

Ok, I am not Italian BUT this food is delicious regardless of my cultural food tradition. Our second time to eat here. On our first visit many months ago, we had their delicious wood fired pizza... crispy delicious crust and fresh, quality toppings. This recent...second visit had us choosing the fixed price date night menu that was offered in addition to the regular menu. First course items we chose were the salad (just ok) and the lobster bisque (outstanding!) Second course - we ordered he salmon with spinach risotto was "the bomb". Risotto was perfectly prepared and the salmon seasoned but not over salted. The other entree was the lasagna with appeared to be handmade pasta and a fine ground meat filling... not your typical lasagna. Well balanced between the noodle, meat and sauce. Sauce was a bit on the sweeter side. Service was very good. We will be back sooner rather than later.More
