Hands down best Steakhouse in Lake Charles or West of the Mississippi in my opinion. The steaks are second to NONE! Service is top flight. From being greeted by the hostess to paying the check you are in for an exceptional experience. Great ambiance and...the wait staff are on point, especially Mike! Every celebratory dinner we go to Vic and Anthony's in Lake Charles, LA. Everything is always spot on! We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. We visited this past weekend for my husband's birthday. We had reservations for a table of 9....The sweet hostess, Carmen, greeted us with a smile and escorted us immediately to our table. We always put in a request for Mike to be our server. I can't say enough great things about Mike. He is the best server we have ever had at any restaurant! He knows the menu front and back. He makes the best recommendations. He is attentive and makes you feel like you are the most important table in the room. We always start off with the crab cake! Hands down...the best bite of food in this town. It is packed full of jumbo lump crab meat. Next, we ordered the filet and lobster with blackened butter. The steak is always cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. The house bread that is brought out as soon as you are seated dipped in that blackened butter could have been it's own appetizer. Delicious! We also ordered the oysters Rockefeller, which never disappoint. For dessert, everyone at the table ordered a slice of cheesecake. There were gasps across the table when the cheesecakes came out! Seriously each plate had a quarter of a whole cheesecake. The portion was huge!! Again, best cheesecake we have ever had! Most restaurants have either great food or great drinks. Vic and Anthony's has it all. We got dirty martinis and they were strong and tasty. Others in our party ordered wine or specialty drinks off of the menu. Everyone was happy with their drinks. I couldn't bear to leave without left overs, so I ordered another crab cake and oysters Rockefeller to go. I am counting down the days until our next celebration! The atmosphere, service, and food are always the best at Vic and Anthony’s. We are greeted with the best smiles from the hostesses and catered to by our server, Mike. He always makes sure we have a fun night with our friends. From the cocktails...to the entrees, our nights at Vic and Anthony’s are spectacular. My friend and I had a girls night out and decided to try Vic and Anthony’s for dinner. Our experience couldn’t have been any better, from the moment we were greeted to the time we left. Mike was our waiter and he made the experience...superb. Very attentive, recommended and explained everything to us in detail since it was our first time there. Service was fast the drinks were phenomenal and the food was astounding. If you are looking for fine dining in Lake Charles I highly recommend this place. Visited last week for celebration. It took 15 minutes at5:30pm to reset a table as booth was unacceptable for elderly patrons. Wine list is ridiculous- 2-4 x markups, and mostly cabs over $500/btl. When I asked waiter repeatedly for sommelier, he gave excuses rather than...honestly admitting there was no somm. Appetizers were not bad- calamari were different but good, crab/shrimp martini okay, bacon slices were good-sweet/smoky/salty. The supposed specialty of the house- prime steak, was horrible. The table ordered filet, strip, and strip on bone. Each cut was fatty enough to be considered prime, but was extremely tough. The prime strips at Sams club are far superior in taste and tenderness. We ordered Bearnaise sauce w/ steaks at $7/small cup- terrible mistake. Sauce was served cold. Chef offered to make new sauce, which never arrived. No moose was sacrificed in the preparation of the chocolate mousse cake. What arrived were two slabs of devils food cake and thin coating of crummy icing- no chocolate mousse. Chef again offered to make mousse, but none arrived. If you want to drop by, I'd recommend sticking to bar drinks and appetizers. For $2000 for 6, we all enjoyed a great deal of aggravation and bad foodMore

Mike and his trainee Haven were absolutely exceptional! They had a great sense of humor and were genuinely just super nice people. The food was perfectly delectable! The way they serve grilled onions was just amazing! 😋 From the minute we walked in to the...second we left, the entire experience was fabulous! This place is incredible from the moment you walk in and are greeted and seated all the way throughout the meal... The steaks are incredible and melt in your mouth cooked to perfection... Salad awesome, Lobster Bisque was delicious... The side were all great but...my favorite is the scalloped potatoes and spinach side.. There was not one thing that was wrong.. the wait service was attentive and kind... made sure you were well cared for like a guest in their home... Steaks were poor quality & thickness was thin,plus they over cook them. Bar service at table was bad.

Amazing service and food. Best Caesar salad out there and the lobster bisque is a must! The management is outstanding, thank you Ryan and team for always making me feel welcome when I come to town.
