Looked this place up when moving down here. Rated highly online and for a good reason. Best gumbo in Metairie. Maybe even New Orleans. Poboys are good too! Pretty chill place so don't expect a fancy dinner.

Don't let the building fool you, the food is good. Place is somewhat small and was crowded- they have a large take out crowd. Flavor was authentic -my Mother was born and raised in Louisanna, and it tasted like my mamas'a!
