Sat at our table for 45 minutes waiting for our food. When it came out 2 of our orders were wrong but we weren't about to argue! Please please please take steps to improve service. Please.

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Camellia Cafe. They offer a good variety of local cuisine. Breakfast prices are in line with other local restaurants and the menu offers many good choices. Lunch and diner menu's are pretty much the same as to what is offered. Roast Beef Po-Boy or any of the seafood dishes are worth... More

Stopped in here for a lunchtime To Go order. Waitress provided a giant catalog of a menu and we didn't want to deal with all that so just ordered without even looking at the menu. Waited foooorever for the two burgers and they weren't that busy. Then was totally shocked at the bill: $22! For two burgers, no sides, no... More

Their menu has something for everyone, seafood, steak, sandwiches. Food was great and service was delightful. Will definitely eat here again.

We are regulars but had no clue that Wednesday is Sr. Night. If you are over 55 they discount your entrees by 55%.The food and service is always spot on.

We caught the St Charles Streetcar to the cafe, very easy to get to. The staff were all locals & warmly welcomed us into their kitchen & diner. We had a lovely waiter who was prompt and quick to serve us. We were able to watch the chefs cook in front of us & interact with them. The food was... More

Camellia Cafe is not fancy by any means, but it is quite good. Their standout dish to me was their homemade sweet potato fries, although their "frips" - homemade potato chips - were also excellent. I wasn't that impressed with my chicken Caesar wrap, which is why I reduced a star, but my friends seemed satisfied with their meals as... More

Live within walking distance but never tried this place until last week. Wanted something close by because delivery pizza and Chinese was getting old. Was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a roast beef poboy and a fish croissant. Food was very good and portion size was great. Will definitely return, but this time not as a last choice.

This is our favorite breakfast stop in Slidell. Biscuits and Gravy and French Toast are what we go for. Enjoyable place to dine.
