Great food, clean, pleasant staff, and beautiful view of the Maine Coast line. It is worth the drive.

While we were in Harpswell for 4 days in July, we visited the Cribstone Grill 3 times. Everything was fabulous, including the service. (Our waitress Dawn was a sweetheart!) Killer lobster BLT (apparently featured in The NY Times) and delicious steamed mussels. And when in...More

Last stop before driving home. Great Lobster Roll, Steamers, and Haddock on top of a salad. Nice view of the water, great service. One of your go-to spots when in Mid-Coast Maine.

We walked over the famed Cribstone Bridge with our friends (regulars there), and this restaurant had quite the setting. Our waitress was great, we enjoyed the views of the harbor, and, most importantly, the food was fantastic. Afterwards, we talked lobstering with the owner, Sheldon...More

We tried dinner here and loved it. Great drink specials, excellent meal, beautiful view of the water. Thought the prices were better than others around. Would come again!

Driving though Maine on our way to Rockland and looked for a new place to visit. While it required a 20 minute detour off Route 1, wow was it worth it! Starting with an outrageous Bloody Mary that had a lobster tail in it, we...More

Two days ago I had the pleasure of dining outside on a gorgeous Bailey Island day. I had the special: twin 1 lb lobsters with a side of corn on the cob. Extraordinary, perfectly cooked. Some lobster meat to take home for dinner. The reason...More

My plan was to try to find lobster shacks all up and down the coast as I traveled and explored, and some locals recommended this place which is located just across the cribstone bridge that marks the entrance to Bailey's Island. Its a small place...More

Decent beer and excellent drink selection. Mussels are not to be missed and crab cakes were delectable.........not overpowered with bread crumbs and Old Bay so you taste the crab and they were 90% crab. Friendly staff, great bartender and nice views We will come back

Sadly we don't grill outside at this location as there isn't space. Our wharf is beautiful spot for a Shipwrecked Margarita though even without a grill. Hope to see you soon!

Seasonal, hard to staff year round, most staff return to school or teaching jobs, lose too much money on snow days in winter. Other places use 'foreign labor' and their work permits only last so long.

Not many vegan choices except a delicious house salad (minus the feta cheese), but packed with berries, oranges and pecans. We also have tasty sweet potato fries, steamed corn on the cob, & onion rings. Hope that helps!
