We started out our meal with a dozen "select" Glidden Point oysters from the nearby Damariscotta River. These were so plump and briny all they needed was a couple of drops of lemon juice to round them out. These were perfectly shucked too, all you had to do was point the shell towards your mouth and let gravity and your... More

Good place for oysters and a beer. My lobster and potato were drenched in I think bottled lemon juice not good at all. Serve with fresh lemon slice instead.

Mine Oyster never fails to please. The oysters are divine. We tried the duck fat fries and were thoroughly enamored with them. We also had the grilled Brussels sprouts, which we will certainly order again. One of the best things we have eaten at this restaurant is the pastrami! It is utterly fabulous! They also have wonderful sushi. Looking forward... More

My first visit to Mine Oyster and it felt like home (that says a lot since I am a Southerner). My best friend & I dropped in for a quick bite. It was wonderful and has a lovely view of the harbor. If you dine there, be sure to get yourself a glass of beer on tap & a glass... More

WE Started out with a couple of Tito's vodka Cosmos ($10.75) which were good but a bit expensive ($2 extra for the Tito's which is a relatively inexpensive vodka). My wife had a cup of Chowder ($7) which was tasty. I had 6 Wellfleet oysters ($2.75 each) which is a bit high. I have eaten Wellfleet oysters on Cape Cod... More

Had a great lunch out on the deck right on Boothbay Harbor. Service was fast, friendly and personal. The grilled romaine was awesome. Topped off with 4 big shrimp made a nice meal. Catch of the day was swordfish. Can't beat a fresh swordfish sandwich for $12. Not a fancy place, but great menu with something for everyone. Full bar,... More

My wife and I made the trip to Maine at the last week of the fall foliage 2016 season. Many places were closed for the season in Boothbay but the Mine Oyster was open. Had the clam chowder which was excellent and my wife had a salad. All the salad green and vegetables were fresh and crispy. Very good selection... More

Maybe the staff was worn out at the end of tourist season, but we couldn't have been more underwhelmed by our visit. There were only a few tables of customers, so we sat at the bar to sample some local oysters. (We'd had two dozen the night before, so we knew how good they were supposed to be.) These were... More

Had a great bowl of Steamers with sausage, top shelf garlic bread. The PO Boys with shrimp were made perfectly and the rolls were outstanding. Great spot with beautiful views.
