I just found this place in July of 2016 and I love it. The bread is wonderful, but your sandwich isn't all bread. I have tried several of their sandwiches and have yet to find one I didn't love. It is hard to make a choice on the best for sure! If you haven't tried it ... please do. You... More

It's the best sandwich place around. It's no like Subway where all the sandwiches taste the same. The bread is excellent fresh baked and the mayo is great. I don't know why but the mayo taste way better than other Sandwich shops. The service is great and will make sandwich to your liking.

We've been meaning to stop at this place for years and just never have until this summer. The subs are amazing! The lobster roll was the best I've ever had with nice chunks of lobster. The turkey sandwich came out with chunks of meat and not just the usual slices like you would find at Subway. The bread smells divine... More

Fresh bread, and awesome sub toppings. This is the place to come if you're looking for the best subs in town. All the locals know about it. Ham & Swiss and the Dagwood are a must.

We spent 2 weeks traveling Nova Scotia and PEI and encountered many places offering Lobster Rolls. Unfortunately, not all rolls are alike. One thing we learned....ask if it is chunks of real lobster or "finely chopped". You want "chunks" not finely chopped as the chopped doesn't taste anything like lobster and could be immitation crab and / or white fish.... More

Atmosphere is almost none existent, but they hit where it counts - the food. The sandwiches are fresh and the staff is friendly.

After living in the area for over 15 years and hearing nothing but rave reviews for this little place I decided to try it. I wasn't as blown away as I thought I was going to be. It's just a little sandwich place. No different than you would make at home. It was clean and the employees were very courteous.... More

I usually get The Dagwood ( ham, turkey ,bacon & beef ). It is a well-filled sub and the rolls are fresh. I have always had a good sub here. Sitting inside is limited but the eagle nest is just down the road on the left so make it a picnic. There are also picnic tables outside. They use to... More

The Sandwich Man continues to be my favourite place to get a sub. The bread is always home-made, and the ingredients are always fresh. Very friendly staff, great prices, and a good atmosphere.

Sadly, the quality is not like it used to be. The subs are still "okay" but not as fresh and delicious as they once were.
