On 2 separate days we ate here. The first time we had muusels and a blacked haddock sandwich; excellent. The next time we had steak ale pie, excellent, and a bowl of clam chowder, weak.

For a pub this is as good as it gets. Great for locals and tourists welcomed. Food is mix of locally sources seafood and pub fare. There is sonething fir everyone and they make children quite welcome.

Spouse and I stoped there yesterday. I had Fish and Chips (fish is grilled not fried) It was more than good it was great. Cole slaw something I usually only sample was super. Great food, if a bit non-traditional on some foods. Overall good food. Open all year. Limited outside dining. Off the beaten path somewhat, you have to know where it is to find [but it's easy once you have directions]. One of my 'go to' places. Bar eating atmosphere downstairs, dining eating atmosphere upstairs.

We found this pub online and wasn't expecting the food to be this good! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was life changing! It was the best dip I have ever had! So much so that I ordered a second to take home! I had the chicken pot pie for lunch and it was delicious as well.... More

The downstairs is the pub. Get local oysters and a Guiness. Your experience will be fine. My friend and I didn't want to eat at the bar. We went upstairs. The server was harried and not personable. I ordered a grilled cheese, tomato and bacon sandwich. It's not a complicated dish. It arrived stone cold and burnt. The server did... More

We went on the recommendation of a local and we weren't disappointed. The Pub is really quaint over a number of levels. We had the oysters to start followed by the lobster rolls. The oysters were outstanding as was the lobster rolls, fries and coleslaw. The service was excellent and it was one of the best places we've eaten in.... More

It would be shame if you just drove this pub hurrying down Hwy 1. It set a little off the highway on Elm. Start with the Guinness and Oysters. Then get the famous crab cakes. Then the lobster about a 11/2-2 lbs one with 1/2 pound of mussels, oh baby you better be sharing that because it will too much... More

I had lunch here with a business associate and had a very pleasant experience. The decor is old English pub. The service was very friendly and the food was very good. We started off with some local oysters and each had the Caesar salad with crab cakes. I am partial to mid Atlantic Maryland style crab cakes using blue claw... More

Fifth Year in a row attending the Pumpkin Festival and eating at King Eider's Pub. Great pub food. Warm atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and great consistent food. My favorites are the 'Uncommon Fish and Chips' and their 'Bangers and Mash'. Incorporating this stop while at the the festival provides a chance to rest before exploring the shops and street venues.
