The food is pretty good and there is a variety of options. I would like to see a few healthier options but overall very tasty. The hours are really the only complaint. Friday and Saturday nights close at 8 and that is a little early for weekend crowds. If I want to eat there I have to get there earlier... More

Found this gem by accident as it was the one of the few places open on a Sunday evening passing through the area. Food was excellent and the price was extremely reasonable. Service was great. Will definitely visit again.

Clean, comfortable, casual, pleasant servers, generous portions. Excellent value. Fish is best and heavily supported by locals which is always a good sign.

Recently visited Dover-Foxcroft and their local agricultural fair. We arrived too early and the vendors were not opened = headed back into town. Found the Nor'easter and really enjoyed our meal. I ordered the scallop meal and baked potato which was very tasty. The rest of our party liked their meals (steak sandwich, lobster roll and chicken club sandwich) and... More

This is your typical small town-type restaurant, but I don't mean that as a bad thing. They have a full bar and the lobster roll is always good! Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Be aware they typically close for a couple of weeks at the end of the year, though!

The broasted chicken is so amazing! We have been eating here for years and this has been my meal all but twice. The French onion soup is the best in Maine and beyond. We have eaten at very high end places that can't complete with the Nor'easter soup! When in Dover make sure to eat at the Nor'easter- you won't... More

Sunday lunch with family. Great food, nice people and excellent service. We had a variety of food from broasted chicken, fried clams and fish. We enjoy our visit and will be back when in the area.

Why people in Dover Foxcroft would eat anywhere else, I am not sure. We drive from Bangor to eat good food that is different from the local. They offer everything from fresh seafood to basic comfort food. Absolutely all great food, and the service ice as perfect. Do not miss the opportunity to eat some basic comfort food done perfectly!

We go camping at Balsam Woods in Abbot each year and always go out to eat at least once. We like to try new places, and decided to try The Nor'easter this year. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, and the prices were great as was the atmosphere. We had a party of 7 which included 3 kids,... More
