We had a lovely lunch at this cafe on Main Street in Freeport on a dreary, cold rainy day. The inside though was warm and welcoming with friendly service, warm fish soup, and tasty creative dishes. There are some excellent appetizers, creative salads, and somewhat...More

Even though we did not have a reservation they fit us right in and the service was phenomenal! The food was excellent - especially the chowder and calamari - and the drinks were wonderful! Everyone was sweet and quick to serve! We will definitely go...More

Friendly and warm welcoming staff! We had the lobster Mac n cheese and it was really tasty. Great wine by the glass. Only small thing is that the sofa was so so comfortable. Great place that i truly recommend.

This was a last minute pick on our last night in Maine. I had the seafood risotto which had the consistency and taste of day old oatmeal. The dish itself was bland and was scattered with bits of seafood. When asked by the wait staff...More

We were here in June and it was good. In October, it was AWFUL. The mussel appetizer was actually burnt—-served on a wood board without sauce.Calamari app was also a disaster—dry and without any true taste. Lobster scampi —the only red component was the diced...More

We went for a Friday evening dinner and were seated upstairs at the front window. My clam chowder was very thick and had enough clams but it was not really very warm. Likewise my wife’s and my pasta dishes were not very warm either, and...More

When new walked in there were only three other folks in the place, yet the hostess seemed to have trouble finding us a table. Food was bland and covered in Parmesan cheese to the point of being gritty. We left after only sampling the food.
