A nice little spot for a basic, delicious, dinner. We arrived late after a long day of traveling and the hotel clerk sent us to the Cafe. There were several locals having dinner so we were confident the food was tasty with good value! Locals know their stuff!

Next to the Bestwestern Plus this place is a great place to eat. Very local which serves a great selection of food for all types. As well the service is polite and fast. This is beautiful little hidden jem!

Had breakfasts and dinners for 2 days and each meal was very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. The lobster omelet was to die for!

Went for breakfast, certainly seemed to be full of locals. The food was good, classic American breakfasts, nothing new or original but well priced. You must try their homemade raisin bread, super good. Only suggestion would be to improve ventilation, clothes smelled of breakfast for the rest of the morning.

Great variety on the menu. It is all nicely prepared. The homemade corned beef hash was great! My eggs Benedict was terrific. It would have been nice if they offered a dark roast coffee, but alas. Actually, had they also offered a dark roast coffee (few places do), I would have given the Cafe an exceptional rating. There was a... More

Over the last two years I have eaten at The Freeport Cafe three times as I am occasionally in Freeport for business at breakfast time. The food is average for this type of establishment however the service is below average. All three times I ordered a breakfast entree which does not include coffee and I did not order one and... This is a little place, that when you drive by it, you may miss it. It sits on the Best Western site just south of Freeport, ME. If you see it and drive by, you will miss a great meal. Initially went here b/c we thought it was included with our room, but it wasn't. A bit more of a wait than we'd wanted (hence the reduction of 1 star) but the food was satisfying and plentiful. We actually had enough to save half for the next day's breakfast. Coffee was excellent, sausage patties were the best I've ever had.... More

This is a very popular restaurant on the Best Western property. We had breakfast here before heading home. All members of our party had different breakfast items. All were tasty.
