We've been to McLaughlins at the Marina a few times. We enjoy how they prepare the food, but beyond that, we often wonder why we return. Their service is not always the best and their prices are, at least our opinion, too high.

I have been there several times and have always been served well, and with delicious food. They always have an interesting choice of craft beers on hand as well. Highly recommend it.

Hostess was very welcoming from the moment you enter the restaurant. I enjoyed this place immensely. It was obviously a place the locals enjoy. The food was great and I am happy I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried this place.

We were here in September on a very slow night. They were going to close early but kept the kitchen open for us. The Haddock dinners were excellent and the service could not have been better. It's a bit hard to find in the dark but make the effort, it's worth it!

We enjoyed delicious dinners in Rockland, Maine, then came to Bangor. Our first must was to eat on the water, as we did in Rockland. We saw that McLaughlin's was rated well and thought we would try it. I ordered the tuna special, which was very good. My husband, ordered surf and lazy lobster. The "surf", lazy lobster, was supposed... More

After a few days in Maine and heading home, I wanted something with Lobster in it. I was looking around for someplace different and came across this place from their website. The drive takes you south of Bangor a few miles. But once you leave the highway, it's only a couple miles off. It's at the Hampden Marina, which you... More

My husband and I went to McLaughlin's last fall and it was the highlight of our trip...only wished we had found it sooner!!! The food and atmosphere was just perfect! I can honestly say that it was the highlight of the trip for me...and love Kimberly the owner!

Probably the best meal of my life. It was perfection. The setting couldn't be more quaint or picturesque. The lobster, shrimp, amd oysters were so fresh. This was definitely a highlight of Bangor. I would recommend to absolutely everyone.

This is a wonderful place for Seafood. We drove here as soon as arrived in Bangor. It was a perfect night for Seafood "at the shore". Well - they don't call it the shore in Maine and we weren't on the Coast - but there is a beautiful on the river from the outside deck ...the weather was perfect...and live... More
