I eat at the Elm Tree Diner at least once a week. I have never had a bad meal whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good home cookin'; lots of it and very reasonable prices. The service is good regardless how busy they are! Well worth the drive across the border.

The Elm Tree Diner is well know in Houlton area. The food is very simply homemade fare that very good. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
We have eaten at the elm tree many times and have never had a bad meal. The Reuben sandwich with house made chips are excellent as is the cold salad plate .
