Heard from a local that it will soon be closing. Our first visit for an early dinner. I wanted to try another Lobster roll so ordered one that came with a nice cup of clam chowder. Chowder was very meaty. Wife ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich which was huge. Also came with a huge oder of french fries which she... More

One of our favorite spots to dine when we vacation in Jackman. Full menu with something for everyone! If you've ever tried Mike's Clam Shack in Wells ME you'll love his restaurant up north in the woods! Nice breakfast buffet offered on Sunday mornings.

We were a large group so I understand that can be difficult. We had called ahead so they should have been somewhat prepared. We never received half what we asked for. Some of the food was pretty good. A beer was spilled on me which was no issue for me but then I had to ask for extra napkins twice.

We were driving from Quebec City to Damariscotta, ME on July 11th, and decided that Jackman was the best half-way point (about 3 hours from Quebec City). We stayed at a clean, pleasant motel (Bishops Motel), and looked at the menus there and the online reviews and chose Moose Crossing. It turns out, that we were delighted. The service was... More

If the lobster stew is on the menu, even though it's pricey - order it. The rich flavor and large pieces of lobster swimming in an excellent soup is one of the best dishes I've ever had. Otherwise this is a friendly restaurant and quite nice to visit.

I had a good dinner here. I don't know if it 's because of it's locale on the way out of town, I don't think it's because of the food, but the place was practically empty, maybe it was the day of the week (Wednesday.) The staff was a little less interested in their job than conventional but I probably... More
