Servers very friendly. Food was generally ok, but nothing too outstanding. This was pretty much the only "restaurant" near our lodging that wasn't super expensive, so we ate dinner there each night of our trip. They were very accommodating in seating us away from other...guests, and even on the outside patio when the weather permitted.More

What ever happened to the great American Pub? The short answer is; it's dead! What we have now is modern buildings with high ceilings and hardwood floors that resonate every sound, every whisper and noise of cutlery in the whole damn place! Pub food is...no longer club sandwiches and simple meals with a short appetizer menu. Pub food is now deep-fried and pre-prepared food. The decor of this so called pub is hard to take in due to the dozen or so televisions lining the walls. Yes, there really is about twelve of them! The place does have decent food and friendly staff. I ordered a hamburger medium well and got it medium rare! You could do worse but a lot better, too!More

Just average, nothing special. Kind of noisy. Service a little slow (short handed?). Hubby had a burger and I had nachos. Average.

We ate there twice once for dinner and once for lunch. They have a nice selection and a full bar. The food was good and plenty. If you are in need of something to eat give the place a try.

I stopped in for a snack after a day of exploring my childhood hometown from grammar school to my first year of high school. I liked the name of establishment and the location was very close to my accommodations. The pub was clean and the...bartender and hostesses were helpful and welcoming. Even though I only had an appetizer, the bartender was helpful and friendly. I had the Caprese dip and it was tasty and well prepared. I will be going back.More

Used to be the best place to get a burger around..... It seems they have changed their ground beef, because it is not nearly as juicy, flavorful, or tender as before. Don't be cheap like everyone else in town, serve us the good stuff.

My friend and I stopped in here for lunch after a morning of hunting. I had the fish and chipe, he had the Philly sandwich. Both were excellent. Portions were generous. Service was a bit slow but very friendly. Capacity limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

We have visited twice in perhaps 10 months. The interior is refreshed and spacious. It's layout is a large island type pine bar, surrounded by ample tables along walls that contain high televisions showing sport related content. .. The food is good, however we have...waited excessively both times (post lunch hour) to eat. Going in at 1 pm, you might not eat until 2pm.More

I had ordered takeout and somehow over the phone there was a miscommunication about our burgers, they ended up with just the patty & bun. Called the next day and they apologized & offered a refund or replacement. I opted for a replacement and it...was delicious. Never made me feel like an inconvenience & they were extremely nice. Also tried their boneless wings & chicken tenders, very tender, plenty of dipping sauce and the portions are a great size. Was even a hit with the kids. Overall I'd recommend to anyone looking for food in this area.More

This place is awesome. Like the decor with logging stuff. They have one of the biggest bars in the state, absolutely beautiful,12-15 beers on tap, and the kegs are kept in cooler. Ice cold and if you want a second beer they have a nitrogen...glass cooler that freezes your mug instantly. They also have mixed drinks with a daily special. The food is very good, homemade chips and nachos chips. Bacon wrapped kabassa to die for. All the meat is fresh from a farm in Maine. Burgers, steaks are very good. Really all the food is excellent. Place is kept very clean, bathrooms too. They have 12-15 TV's on all the time. Outdoor seating that is nice but no TV out there. The staff is very good and friendly. Sometimes a little slow getting the food to you and the biggest complaint is that it is very loud when there is a lot of people, very big open room. This place is by far the best place in Lincoln to eat. Make sure if you are traveling through Lincoln that you must stop at the Forester you will not be disappointed.More

Stopped on a Sunday drive through Lincoln. A little slow getting seat and service but it’s a cute new building and the Patriots were on. Once food was ordered it arrived quickly, hot and delicious! Pub style food with a flair French fries were really...good. I had a chicken sandwich which was cooked perfectly. No room for dessert but they do have a dessert menu. Maybe next time!More
