My wife and I were here on September 11 at about 3:30. The restaurant is located on Broadway, the main street going into town. Located on the right. The restaurant is clean, bathroom was clean, and the wait staff was friendly. As with many places,...very understaffed. My wife had the County Lobster and I had the Pot Roast. Both were good. Prices were reasonable. Total was $40 before tip. We go to Lincoln occasionally so we will eat here again. It is a popular place. One of the very few sit down restaurants in Lincoln.More

The food here is a little pricey for what it is. When you order a seafood platter that costs $34 and it comes with what looks like pre processed haddock fillets from a box it's a little disappointing. Overall, it's not a bad place but...could certainly be better. I was a bit put back by a couple who walked in and was allowed to bring a small non service dog with them! Maybe this is commonplace in Maine, but every other place I have ever been it was not allowed. The help was friendly and the decor was more traditional to a family restaurant than what we see today.More

We stopped at this local place on our way through town. The menu was vast and it was difficult to choose which offerings to try! I had pulled pork sliders and onion rings - a great choice! The service was good and they gave us...iced tea to go.More

Stopped in with my wife and friends for a quick lunch. Place wasn’t great but wasn’t bad. If you need lunch in a pinch it will do.

Placed the order and was excited to try out Gilmores seafood combo..I ordered shrimp and haddock with extra tarter and slaw plus a chicken Ceasars salad with fried. Pick up order not ready when I arrive which is okay iys a Sat night.then I pay...and ask extra tarter right ..walks away and comes back with not just the extra tarter but tarter in general as she forgot it ..then she comes back saying I'm a newbie like that's an excuse here's your slaw..fine and dandy smelled so good figured worth the wait. I dri e home 24 min later open it up just couldn't smell it another minute look down and DAMMIT ITS SCALLOPS AND HADDOCK WITH FRENCH FRIES..I'm so passed now. I call up she says let me get the manager 20 min later never coming back to me yet I could hear her ask and tell manager guy on phone claims he ordered shrimp and haddock and go scallops..then another of yammering went on for longer then I care to say..The manager could of got on and told me somthing..after all all I did was ask what they wanted to do as I wasn't going to eat it ,I loathe scallops and calamari..everything else is fine..Because of this I'll leave a review everywhere I can letting people know how at Gilmores in Lincoln does buissiness and couldn't give two shots if your order is right when they mess it up without trying to rectify the problem. It's your money so when they screw up and don't give you what you ordered guess that's stealing from the public isn't it..I'm done giving any of my money to them. I tried to help them rectify it so now it's on them and the manager who decided to not take my call leaving me on hold having to listen to them Demean all their a hole customers like they said. Guess what us assailed customers pay your wages ..thanks for the Garbage Dinner...More

I stopped in for lunch. It was really surprisingly busy. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive. They recommended the lobster Mac and cheese. I also had a small salad. Both were flavorful and the mac and cheese was very filling. Overall a very good experience.

We took my mom here as one of her first restaurant visits since receiving the COVID vaccine. The lobster potato was awesome, and the desert was even better! A great place to eat at.

Had chicken fingers fries coleslaw. A little pricey for what I had and service was terrible. I was asked how my meal was. I told the waiter my coleslaw tasted terrible like it was spoiled. She said I will go ask about it. She came...back in about 10 minutes and said they just made it this morning and it has a more vinegar base on it. That was it, wasn't asked if I'd like something different. Just left there. It doesn't matter when it was made it was terrible. Like it had be sitting for a while. Not good customer service.More

For the people who say the mill smells, it is no longer in operation, so no smell. I agree this is the classiest restaurant in town. Don't miss the best pot roast almost every Sunday and boneless wings are terrific! Haven't had a bad meal...there in the 8 years I've been here in Lincoln.More

Has the look and general vibe of a typical family restaurant in Maine, except that it was packed. Considering how few choices there are in Lincoln, and considering how people in rural Maine often prefer bland food, I admit to not expecting much. However, the...Forester Pub down the street was even more packed and was deafeningly loud enough when we went in that we turned around and left. I'm glad we did: Gillmor's turned out to be a real treat! The food was fabulous and the service was great too - no mean feat for a place so busy. Some of us got seafood, and I (an especially easy sell when the server recommends it) had the pizza. I would go back just for that. Desserts are mostly prefab but there was at least one inviting homemade option that we tried and enjoyed a lot. Our waitress, Barb, was a seasoned veteran with a refreshingly keen eye for great service. She had just that perfect combination of friendliness and wisdom to inspire total confidence in not just us but, I noticed, all her guests. For a place that appears in many ways a 'standard' family dining spot in a sleepy gateway town, I found much to commend by the time we left, including the prim well-lit parking lot (on one side of the building anyway), the easy access, and ability to handle a significant dinner rush with aplomb.More
