This was perhaps the most bizarre restaurant experience I've had in a decade. Being a native New Yorker and a former instructor at the Culinary Institute of America, I'm at least somewhat qualified to remark on Chinese food. This wasn't that. I'm not sure how...to describe the food at WW, but let's just say it defies description. I'm a fan of wonton soup, but this was a watery broth that was mostly soy sauce and very brown colored. The wontons were ok. There was a pile of pork involved. As such it was nourishing but hardly distinctive. There was spinach, too. My date's sweet and sour soup was mysteriously sweet beyond reason. She had a few spoons full and quit. The theme, which reflects everything we had here, is "quantity over quality". They give you a lot to eat, and that's why this place is so busy. We ordered the meal for 2, at 42$. The skewered beef was tough and could have passed for a filleted rat, though I've never tried one. The meat was tough and sinewy. The chicken wings were passable. We did not receive the pork fried rice, Moo Goo, or sweet and sour pork. At the end of the meal I asked the waitress if there wasn't something she may have forgotten. "Oh, Yes", she said. She left half the meal in the kitchen. She was new at WW. She was very nice. The SS pork was not edible, it was so tough, and wrapped in a thick dollop of deep fried dough. The sauces were like glue. The front of house and wait staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. Anyway, my rating of 1 is due to the whole experience being below average and the food was pretty bad. Don't go to WW if you are expecting Chinese food or even a reasonable facsimile.More

I really wanted take out--something hot and something relatively nutritious. Fatty, meaty, cheese filled, & deep fried food is what's mostly common restaurant fare here, in this 1950's style town. Plus a few fast food chains. So I went with the venerable Wing Wah--at least...they serve vegetables. Disappointed! Yes, the portions are large and they weren't stingy with meat--I ordered something lean. However, the fried rice was very brown, just saturated with salty soy sauce and no vegs. The main dish was ok but bland. And the hot and sour soup was insanely sweet, which was weird, not like any h & s I've had before. Also very dark brown, um, not visually pleasing, shall I say. But at least the pork slices were not fatty and did not have the typical hot pink dye on them, so that was a plus. I don't know if they used msg, but I had a sudden headache after eating. We did not keep the leftovers!More

Plenty a seating. Nice staff. Huge menu and tons of different popular dishes. The quantity is off the charts. All house made dishes. Nothing is pre-made including the Dumplins and wontons (all handmade). Each dish is enough for at least two to eat off of....Staff does a great jib of ensuring sanitation. Everyone was extremely satisfied and everyone used a to-go-box.More

It likely was once relatively grand for the locale. It is low lit and spacious, with tons of booths, simple woodwork and a some nice looking hanging lamps. The booth seats are freshly covered, with springs so worn that you will sink to the bottom....... The servers seem very experienced, not overly slow or fast, and helpful. The copious food is a tasty budget grade and priced accordingly.More

The food was delicious and the quantities were enough for two meals. Service was fast and polite. Menu was extensive and many different types of chinese foods.

We arrived shortly before they opened at 12 on a Sunday after church. There was already a line at the door waiting for them to open. The food was good, and we enjoyed the ambiance.

I was in enfield, the next town over from Lincoln for a Lake house vacation and had a hankering for Chinese. Went to WW and ordered chicken fingers- rubbery chicken, vegetable lo mein - alright, and Kung Pao chicken ( xtra spicy) - not spicy...at all, few peanuts. The place was filthy. I will not returnMore

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Wing Wah! This has been my favorite place to get Chinese since I was a kid. Everything is so good, I especially love the Chicken Lo Mein, the Sesame Chicken, the Chicken and Broccoli, and the Crab Rangoons and Chicken Teriyaki are...also to die for. They make great drinks, have great service and always great food! Definitely worth the trip!More

I don't think I know anyone locally who has anything bad to say about the food at Wing Wah. It's very good and the portions are actually too large. The restaurant itself is where it falls short. The inside is in need of a complete...overhaul. The booths are old have been in need of replacement forever. We almost always get takeout. They do have a great Sunday buffet that we make it to a couple of times a year.More

Had a lunch special with egg roll, something I'd never heard of called sha sha chicken(very good)teriyaki and rice for $8.65.They have a Sunday only buffet for $11.Total was $10.18 with a Diet Pepsi with tax before $2 tip.Plenty of food, not terribly hot but served quickly.Good...service.On street free parking-you have to back out onto a VERY busy Main St.I'd absolutely go again.WAY better than two lousy places in my town that serve cold hard rice! They have no website. The one listed(wingwah.net)goes to an identically named chain in England. They have an unofficial FB page with an old menu(outdated pricing)Had leftovers that never quite made it home.More

We chose Wing Wah for two reasons. We loved the name and it was the only place in Lincoln open after 8 pm. So glad we did! The place isn't much on decor and that is fine. The charm is in the fun-loving waitstaff and...the wonderful food! Warning! Portions are monstrous, so don't be afraid to split and do not order add-ons. You'll be eating leftovers for a week! We had a delicious array of General Tso, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Chicken and Cashews. All were great and we took home more than half of our meal. Heed the warnings. They will stuff you full!More

Food was decent quality but WAY too much. Take what you're used to getting at a typical Chinese restaurant and double it at least. Service struggled to keep up, but it was a Friday evening in a small town without too many other choices, so...understandable. Everyone was super friendly, which always goes a long way.More
