We called by for a dinner and seemed to land in the middle of staff problems. The food was good but service was slow although our waitress rushed around serving most of the tables.

We stopped at this restaurant along the water , the view was beautiful. I ordered the lobster which was very good, but my husband ordered the chicken special , and they brought his meal and told him that they ran out and just gave him regular chicken and did not even give him the option of changing his selection. The... More

To set the background, I’m from Pennsylvania. I have been going to the Lincolnville Lobster Pound for at least 40 years. It was (and is) the favorite lobster place of my three sons, and even now their families. It is also close to our lake house and convenient for a lobster dinner whenever we are at the lake. So I’ve... More

We don't often stop here because there are so many other better places in the mid-coast area that serve the same food but with better value. We came here on a busy "leaf-season" night in nearby Camden where we had run into hour-long waits for a table. We wanted to introduce some visitors from England to a traditional Maine lobster... We stopped at this restaurant that we've driven by for years. The food was bland and not worth the $$. The server was in engaging and acted like we were putting her out to be there for lunch!

This is the second time we have tried the Lobster Pound, as we have a home nearby. Our first experience was not good, but we went this time at the suggestion of some friends, thinking everyone deserves a second chance. Big mistake. Out of four of us, only one person had a meal they could finish. The seafood was tasteless... More

A Maine lobster pound on the water. My 11/2 be lobster was cooked to perfection. It is a typical water view reataurant. That serves lobsters. The rest of the party had fried oysters & fried clams with bellies. Because we cannot get like things where we live it was very enjoyable & not pricey!!

We stopped by the lobster pound while we were at the town beach on our bucket list tour of the area, to see if we could make special arrangements for a family member who is ill. These wonderful people, owners and staff, listened to our story and more than accommodated our situation. We had a wonderful, memorable meal! The food... More

Casual, had what we wanted, lobster and lobster roll. Try the house chips, they were excellent, light and not too salty.

I would say the restaurant is just average. Fried oyster sandwich and crab roll was good. Friendly service but she had too many tables so service was a little slow. Also felt the prices were a bit inflated. What this restaurant has going for it is the fantastic view.
