You can eat on the picnic tables along the beach or get cooked lobster to go and eat at home with your own salad or vegetables and wine. Excellent lobster roll and fish taco. Perfect lobsters. Nice and diverse selection of sides. Also a range of fresh fish and seafood. Well prepared for take-out dinner.

Can't wait to return and have the fish tacos that everyone else was eating, while I had my Maine lobster! How can you choose from all of their offerings? Terrific!!

We felt right at home here and the food is truly good and the staff very friendly and cheerful. Prices are reasonable and a lot of variety in seafood!

Easy to get to from the boat. We waited just a few minutes to place our order. Our order was called in about 15 mins. We sat outside on the picnic tables by the beach and ate our fish tacos. They were quite tasty with a bit of a spice bite which was really nice. Fresh limes to squeeze on... More

The Fish House is the best place to eat on the island of Monhegan. The lobster stew is excellent. The fish chowder is legendary. One dines outside with a view of Monhegan harbor. Also try the seaweed salad. BYOB. The best thing to do is go to Monhegan Brewing and get a growler of beer to drink with your meal.

I understand that everything is imported here, but for the amount of food it was quite pricey! Still very good food, just a little surprised by the price.

While I can't say I'm qualified to rate lobster rolls, mainly because the few I have tried are swimming in an excess of unappetizing and unhealthy mayonnaise, that is not the case here. Far from it, the lobster roll (while somewhat over-priced at $17) was truly delicious with almost no mayo involved. Instead, decent sized chunks and delicate spicing and... More

If you love them raw, this is the place to get fresh, plump and delicious ones! Other seafood was available for those that liked it cooked!

Well we were on Monhegan and the prices had to be high, but our lobster rolls were skimpy and boring. The harbor was pretty cluttered and unappetizing . I just can't find much to say positive. Next time we will try the spot down at the boat dock.

I've never been a fan of fish. Ever. After feeling a bit "lobstered-out", a friend suggested I try the fish tacos. My response? "Absolutely not. Gross." I opted for a little potato salad, and yet another lobster roll. (Delicious, might I add.) My friend went with his own suggestion-fish tacos. And my gosh, I'm so glad he did. After about... More
