Cozy village store with an excellent wine and craft beer selection. We came for breakfast, left with full bellies, beer and wine! I had the hash - large chunks of beef and caramelized onions with red potatoes and two eggs over easy. Yum!! The other half had a burrito with bacon and home fries. Also great. We're local and can't... More

I love this place! Every time I'm here, it's a must go, not only because it's the only thing in town haha! I'm very impressed that they're able to make food from multiple cultures all very tasty! I've had pizza some nights and sandwiches on others. It's all delicious!

If you are in the area, worth the stop, particularly for breakfast or pizza. Unlike most stores in Maine, the village market is not selling the name brand wines. They choose their own and the prices are reasonable. Watch for wine tastings, and be sure to stop in when bluegrass is playing.

We had a very good pizza...that was a bargain to boot. In a great location with the smell of fresh baked pastries, etc. wafting up from below. A must stop. Too bad you can't drink on the premises.

Old timey building that carries on a long tradition. It has been modernized in the best way. The food is amazing, baked goods divine and ambiance is totally enjoyable. Just getting there on the back roads through farms and vistas that personify how gorgeous the Maine country side is make this a worthwhile trek. Friendly people, high quality and the... More

Fresh ingredients make for excellent dishes! We recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch of a spinach, tomato and bacon omelet and cinnamon French Toast! Great coffee, too!

We have eaten breakfast and lunch there. All of the food is freshly made, using local ingredients. The portions are generous. They also have a large selection of wines and beers available that can be purchased although they can't be consumed on the premises.

We got the Congregationalist pizza that was really good. It a cute rural store with several tables and outdoor seating on their deck. They also have a market downstairs with the BEST English muffins for sale. It's worth the drive!
