Atmosphere second to none. The building, grounds, and wharf location all pure Maine. Enjoyed watching the boats arrive and unloading and grading of the lobster.

Forget the frills. Shaw's offers fresh lobster, clams, and other options right on the water. Sit on the outside deck and relax to the calming views of quietly bobbing lobster boats. This is the real deal. My family has been going to Shaw's for decades....More

Loved the location, sitting on a sunny deck on a gorgeous Maine inlet faced with a rustic seafood menu. The lobster, scallops and clams were disappointing when compared with the same fare in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand and the service was a bit...More

We have visited this restaurant many times and generally find the food very good. The format is order and pick up for your own table. This year we had to eat inside because of the weather and we could not bring ourselves to go back....More

It's obvious why this place is so famous, it's very yummy and fun to sit outside with everyone feasting on lobster and other good food.

When do you open for the season? My daughter is getting married on May 7, and was hoping she could have a reception there with about 50 people.
