Sully's is a great spot to get a fast, quick hot dog or a bratwurst. Plenty of fixings to put on your dog. Cheap eats. Friendly service. Each week the owner of this hot dog cart donates a portion of his sales to a local charity.

Closed winters. Sully tows his hot dog cart in before lunch time and back home after. Usually about 1030am to 2pm. Good hot dogs. Standard drinks. Eat in your car: no tables. Or just stand and talk with Sully. On business Rt 1 in Newcastle. Maine drag: in a parking lot. Quick service.

Sully is a charmer and a good guy and has been a summer fixture in Newcastle for about ten years..He offers several kinds of hot dogs and a large selection of condiments...His hot dogs are "just OK"..I prefer the hot dog stand in Brunswick but if you want a quick lunch between Damariscotta and Wiscasset Sully will fill the bill...

I have often stopped to grab a quick hot dog for hungry kids on our way home from the beach. You get exactly what you expect from a hot dog cart.

Sully offers three types of hot dogs with all the fixin's. Nothing fancy like a San Francisco food truck, just your basic dog how you like it. He doesn't charge extra for things like sauerkraut extra as some do, and he will engage you in local gossip at no charge!

...retired, moved to Maine, stands in his parking lot at the Newcastle end of the twin villages, makes great dogs out of his cart, and gives most of his profit to Maine service organizations. A good human with good food, lots of helpful local information with the dog too!

Great hot dog selection. I had what I think was the spiciest. Very very good dog. There are several types of dogs and at least one sausage. Mine might have been a quarter pounder. It was pretty big. There is also a very good selection of mustards. Excellent for an inexpensive quick bite to eat.

If you are craving a hot dog or kielbasa this is aquick stop for better than average " dogs. Fresh cut onions, golden mustard and kraut at a fair price and the owner is very friendly.

Sully's (named for the proprietor's late best-pal dog) keeps it simple. Four or five types of hot dog with the typical trimmings (Morse's sauerkraut available for those so inclined!) along with chips and soda. No seating, no frills. Every third Thursday in summer of 2013 he's offering 50% off your meal if you bring a canned good for the local... More
