My husband and I came in for breakfast while vacationing at Point Lookout Resort nearby. We both thought the service, food, and coffee were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Wonderful for what it is which is a roadside diner that locals frequent.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Great coffee and delicious food, awesome pancakes. Great value too. They even have a small gift shop in the back.

It doesn't look like much. The GPS took us past. It's on a curve and could easily be missed. The outside doesn't look like the gem that is inside. I enjoyed the Quesadilla with Hash Browns. The rest had traditional breakfast. The Rasberry muffins were a real treat. Everyone was very pleased and surprised at the checkout. The two of... More

Best mom and pops places I've been to. Such a great change of pace from the rudeness of NYC. They were so pleasant and friendly. But that's not what makes this place good. It's their food. The husband of the couple that owns the place is the cook. Let me make a suggestion, make sure with whatever you order, you... More

I guess when you are rated #6 out of 6 in a tiny town like that, it pretty much sums it up. We stopped for breakfast and it took 1/2 hour for them to come and ask us if we wanted coffee. There was a table beside us that had arrived before we did and they were still waiting. I... More

We were one of three tables being served while we were there. We were in and out within 30 minutes. Service was prompt and courteous. The eggs, hashbrowns and toast were standard breakfast quality. It is really hard to make outstanding breakfast with those items. The pancakes though, tons of blueberries. Probably the best we've had, blueberry pancakes anyway. As others... More

We waited 40 minutes for pancakes and eggs. Ridiculous. Bad and very slow service. No explanation of why things were so slow

6 miles north of Lincolnville Beach, right on route 1, Moran's Hideaway Diner. Great breakfast, biggest yummiest pancakes ever, impossible to finish more than one, Open from 7 am to 2 pm, serving breakfast all day. Huge Main style pancakes. Great Downeast breakfasts. Wonderful hot dog and other baskets, with generous servings of really good fries. Very friendly staff. Inexpensive.

I originally ate here a few months ago after moving into the area. It was good and the service was good although a little slow. I have given it several chances just because it is so close and it is so cheap. The fact is, it is ridiculous how slow it is. Rather I am the only guest or a... More
