Very friendly staff. The food was prepared wonderfully and presented just as nice. There were many selections to choose from.

My husband and I are sushi lovers. We were stopping around several restaurants in Ogunquit for snacks and drinks instead of eating a traditional dinner (a recommended strategy) and stopped here first. We ordered a nigiri platter to share. The sushi was fresh and well put together. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our sushi, some beers, and great... More

While so many Ogunquit restaurants had lines to get in, Black was quiet with tables available. The sushi was perfect and the service was too.

We enjoy sushi. We decided to try Black. it was average. Our Miso soup was served to us cold and had to be sent back. There was fishy odor that seemed odd, it gave as a poor impression. It was only so so, we would choose to elsewhere

My husband & I stumbled upon this cute gem while tooling around town. Stopped in for a quick bite while looking for a quieter space than the normal mayhem of others in town. What a slice of heaven! Sat outside & was greeted w/ a great smile from Buzzy. Stellar stellar stellar sushi, presentation, service & experience. Hands-down not to... More

This place is amazing. Buzzy will always take care of you, and the sushi couldn't be fresher. I make sure to go here every year.

It has been many years since I visited Ogunquit and back then Sushi was few and far between, but what a great addition to the dining scene here. I eat a lot of sushi! The food here is delicious and the service was good. Makes a nice change from the clam shacks and lobster stops. I dined here several times... More

Black is our go to Saturday or Sunday dinner in OGT. We were so happy to dissolve that it was finally open for the season Fathers Day weekend! Sashimi was super fresh and the presentation was beautiful with the little touches of eatable flower and dots of sritacha and special sauces. The rolls, crunchy mango, flaming and rainbow were as... We stopped in for a light bite to eat! We heard good things about this establishment and decided to give it a try. The menu is strictly sushi, no cooked entrees, with the expcetion of nigri rolls. We enjoy sashimi and were astonished that Toro (which is typically served raw) was cooked. Toro is seasonal, and was surprised it was... More
