I admit it, after 10 days in New England I was sick and tired of fish (and I don't eat lobster!!) After years of visiting Ogunquit, my husband and I decided to try Oarweed. He was very happy with "only" two lobsters and I tried the grilled chicken salad. Salad was huge and wonderfully fresh, and I will certainly order... More

My family and I have been eating at the Oarweed for a few years now, we have been very pleased thus far. There food is good and there service has been great. However last August when we were there a woman eating at a table close by collapsed. Her children were in a panic and an ambulance was called. The... More

We had our first experience here with clam chowder and lobster and also had a delicious blueberry pie. And what a lovely view! Service was very friendly and attentive. Really a nice stop on our way from Boston to Rockport.

After having various types of lobster dishes, I decided to have the whole lobster at Oarweed, it was worth the wait. The lobster was cooked just right leaving it hot and sweet. I still feel like you don't get as much lobster meat from a whole lobster as you do with a lobster roll, but that is just me. I... More

Always eat here as we walk the Marginal Way. Good value for food. Is there anything better than to sit at the edge of the ocean for lunch? Hostess always makes an effort to seat us in a requested area. All staff are knowledgeable and polite. Leave a good tip!

Great service from Shelby our server. The sea food was fantastic. We will definitely be back when we visit again. Scallops were to die for.

A rainy day but great inside for a cup of clam chowder, lobster & dessert. Our waiter kept everything going smooth as could be and the food was great. We sat by the window so got a view of the ocean.

Whole lobster, seafood chowder, lobster salad, and lemon blueberry cake for desert - all local, all fresh. This place is set right on the spit of land dividing Perkins Cove from the Atlantic ocean, and it delivers good food in a family setting with views of crashing surf to keep you enthralled the whole time you are there enjoying your... Our family loves the Oarweed Restaurant and we made sure to get in one last visit before it closed for the season! We kicked off our trip to Ogunquit with a walk on Marginal Way and then piled into our favorite restaurant. The kids love the chowder (so rich and creamy!) and my husband and I are stuck on their... We stopped for dinner on a cool, rainy evening and enjoyed the seafood chowder. I could have eaten another bowlful, but I had a lobster to crack. My spouse had the salmon which was also very good. We love that they are NOT like other restaurants serving an array of fried foods, but grilled, boiled and baked. Thank you Oarweed.... More
