Really enjoyed the clam chowder and crab roll. My husband liked his lobster roll too. Quick service. Small place, but large tables.

This place is not impressive in terms of decor, but the food is outstanding. The lobster roll and clam chowder I got were both excellent, and the combination is a lunch special with very reasonable price. After eating, the area is good to stroll around.

Omg the lobster rolls were AMAZING! We had heard from many people that this was the place to go and they were right! The Lobster Shack is an unassuming 'shack' with terrific food. The chowder, although not thick like we prefer, had wonderful flavor and...More

This little place usually has a line outside, but it is very efficient and we did not have to wait very long. They brag, rightfully so, about their seafood chowder, which you pick up on the way in. By the time we were done ordering...More

No fancy frills, just fresh yummy lobster. Pick your size, your sides and sit and enjoy. We understand that often the lines are long....We went in mid day and found it to be calm with no wait at all. Picnic tables are provided inside to...More

We always eat here at least once when we are in Ogunquit and this stay was no exception. We usually have steamers but passed due to the $21 price tag, we'd been getting steamers at other places for $13 to $16 for decent portions (18...More

Amazing lobster rolls, probably one of the best I've ever had. The meat is just delicious. Slightly pricey at 18$ for a roll though it is so very good. Def get it without the mayo and with butter on the side. It was so good...More

If you want fresh seafood, this the place. Not fancy, no china or white tablecloths just a menu filled with seafood selections, especially lobster(what else in Maine?) about any way you might want it- and any size lobster roll up to a pound of meat!...More

On an overcast day in early September we found ourselves at the end of our hike on Marginal Way. With a number of places to choose from for lunch, we felt drawn to a small shed-like building at the end of the road. It is...More

Our official closing day is Columbus Day, which is October 10th this year. However, if the weather is nice and we still have enough staff we may try to stay open until the end of the month.

Enjoy lobster, steamers, lobster rolls, chowder and a whole lot more in a friendly, casual atmosphere. Live lobsters caught by local lobstermen wait in tanks filled with ocean water coming straight from the cove. Choose your size and two sides. For all the taste without the work, have a lobster roll any way you like it...a quarter pound single, double-stuffed, triple, or an entire pound on a buttery toasted roll with or without mayo. The lobster wrap and lobster BLT are also recently added favorites. Homemade chowder made from an old family recipe is a great way to start your meal, there's no thickening flour just the perfect combination of clams, fish, potatoes, onions and spices in a milk and cream base. The "Shack" has been owned and operated by the Evans family since the 1980s and is proud to serve the hottest chowder and the coldest beer in town. Let Jason, his family and his crew provide you with a true Maine eating experience in the oldest restaurant in Perkins Cove...
