It was okay, but I'm not understanding all the excellent reviews! We had much better lobster rolls and such at other, similar places near Port Clyde. It wasn't terrible, I think we were just tainted by other locations!

I spend a month in Tenants Harbor, Maine every summer. Doug's Seafood is just down the road a few miles - very convenient. They have a great selection of wines, etc. (part of Doug's Seafood has gourmet groceries). But their take out food is superb....More
We stopped at the walk up window for dinner take out. Ordered the fried haddock and chips basket. DELICIOUS haddock. Took our meal to the light house for a picnic. Reasonably priced. Doug is heading to Bonita Springs full time. If you are in the...More
Up in Port Clyde for a few days last week and stayed about an eight iron away from Doug's. If I'd been in the area longer I'd have eaten there every day. Great lobster roll on a great toasted bun. Fresh chunks of delicious lobster...More

Got steamed lobster to go. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Brought the cooked lobsters home and everyone was happy. Will return this week.
This unpretentious spot by the side of the road does a great job with a limited set of very fresh offerings. Pleasant staff, a tent to eat under, and reasonable pricing. I think it is really just called "Doug's"
