After having had Banh Mi in Vietnam in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, I was starting to crave some Banh Mi. I stopped in today and had a sandwich. The ingredients were fresh, it had a full taste. Made me feel as if I was right in Vietnam again. Best of all, it was only $3.50. Will be stopping... More

I ordered the combination sandwich, which they said is their most popular. I've had much better banh mi elsewhere. It's a storefront with no place to sit down, and a bit of a dive. Takeout only.

I live in Rockland. Banh mi sandwiches here run about $8. Kim's are WAY cheaper and WAY better. I regret I'm too far away to eat there more frequently.

Decent place, attentive friendly service, very good banh mi sandwiches and excellent value for your money. I stopped on the 25th to pick up a few sandwiches to try them out. I picked the beef, chicken and special combination (my favorite) banh mi’s. I also picked a rice dish that was steamed in banana leaves with a quail egg inside... More

Kim's sandwiches is one of the places I miss the most. The food is incredibly cheap ($3 a sandwich) and delicious too! In addition, Kim and her daughter are lovely!! Stopping by just to chat with them is also worth the visit! I can only review on one of their sandwiches, the chicken one, as it was the one I... More

I 'discovered' Kim's about five years ago and have been a regular ever since. For years I drove by and wondered what the Vietnamese Iced Coffee mentioned on their sign board was like. I finally went in one day and ordered that coffee and a vegetarian sandwich. The iced coffee is condensed milk mixed with chicory roast coffee. It's very... More

Are you hungry? Do you like tasty sandwiches? Are you in the market for pork buns or syndicated Asian television shows on DVD? If you answered “yes” to any of the following questions you should definitely check out Kim’s Sandwich shop. $3 nets you an incredible sandwich. Like a Ramones song it’s short, sweet and exactly what you needed…

The banh mi were just ok. Fillings were fresh, however they used a regular mayonnaise and a tough/chewier baguette. Had higher expectations for the French bread.

I can't bring myself to eat anywhere else when I'm in Portland at lunchtime. The sandwiches are unbelievably amazing. They don't make their own bread, but with the careful toasting, you almost can't tell. You can't beat the price, but I would pay twice as much (don't tell Kim). You must get a Thai iced tea or coffee to go... More
