If you can find it open, they have great views, and even better drink choices. Lots of local flavor. 4-5 times its either closed altogether or closed to the public for a function. I would highly recommend the Mojitos. I NEVER order them, but a co-worker had one and now they are my goto at this place. Lots of quiet... More

You can't complain about the view -- unless it's foggy. Go there after work or before dinner elsewhere for a great experience to view Portland Harbor in the east and the White Mountains at sunset in the west. It's a big space and somewhat noisy, but it's the views that make it. Service is ok, drinks are well poured. I've... More

The views are terrific as always, but they have re-arranged the tables to eliminate those formerly very long tables where you might sit next to strangers galore in favor of much more elegant tables seating four, AND they have gotten rid of the somewhat garish former colored glass tube lights on the ceilings in favor of "Edison"-style bulbs, way warmer... We showed up late with a large group that included a baby and stroller. We only got one round of drinks and a few appetizers, but the staff treated us like we were spending a fortune. Although we just had appetizers, the food was very good, shrimp were fresh and firm. Wonderful views of the bay and the city, very... More

We were at the hotel on a wedding night (coincidence) and the service was poor. The drinks (expensive) lacked the punch for the price paid. I don't mind paying good money for a drink, but when some local chain restaurants make equivalent drinks, that says something.

We didn't stay at the Westin, but we did visit to have drinks and food at Top of the East. The bar was quite busy, but we were served quickly and we also enjoyed the flatbread, lobster sliders and pretzels. All were yummy. We didn't notice that they automatically added 20% gratuity, so we ended up double tipping - our... More

My fiancé and I stayed at the Westin Portland Harborview for two nights at the end of October. Night one, we ended up going up to the Top of the East rooftop lounge to check it out and ended up staying there for a couple hours. It was very modern and elegant with beautiful views of the city. We enjoyed... More

This bar is more expensive because it is in a hotel and the view is fabulous. We had a tasty shrimp appetizer and a well made Old Fashion. You can view the ocean to the west and Mountains to the west. Very relaxing. Hope to return

I loved having drinks and some light snacks at the end of the day. The waitress we had was great. The male waiter was not as attentive. The view is phenomenal
