Stopped here for a quick bite with the wife. Nachos were really good! Saved us a couple dollars by not upselling us on a drink. Didn't have a dinner plate so comment on those.

All 4 of us loved this place! The atmosphere is festive. Love the chili pepper string lights on the ceiling, the day of the dead art on the walls and the comic book wallpaper in the bathroom! The infused tequilas are fantastic (highly recommend the pineapple poblano tequila). Everyone at the table had something different and we all loved our... More
We had been shopping and wanted lunch. Someone mentioned this restaurant and we decided to eat there. It has a funky and happy atmosphere. Hundreds of chili lights on the ceiling. They were busy, but our service was good. Margaritas were great and the food was very good. Stayed quite awhile and never felt rushed to leave. Walking distance from... More
Quick place to stop for lunch if you're exploring Portland. Not the crazy waits that you can experience at some of the more popular places. Solid mexican food.
Early dinner out at Taco Escobar. First visit for myself, daughter and beau had been several times. St Patrick's day bar packed, dining as well, greeted by an awesome hostess 15minute wait offered drinks while we waited, got a great booth in 15min or less, tremendous server, wish I had asked her name to include here, Guacamole and chips and salsa all... The chips and salsa... More
I have gone to this hole in the wall a dozen times now. Every time I go, I enjoy it a little bit more. It's nothing fancy (its' clean and decorated for fun) but the staff is so nice and the food is great.
After a lousy experience at another Portland Mexican restaurant, dropped by here and loved it. Friendly service, unique margarita infusions and fresh Mexican choices made this a great choice. Certainly a younger crowd but as an older couple we were still made to feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend the jalapeño infused margarita! Our meal was a combo of... More
We had a fantastic time when we visited Portland and made sure to go a second time to Taco Escobar. It is busy and a small restaurant and you may have to wait for a table but it is worth it! Large selection of choices. And great margaritas!
