We arrived at 1:15pm and there was a 30 minute wait for a stool. The oysters were delicious and the Tuna Crudo and Snapper Crudo were tasty however the portion was petite. Lunch was pricy with a couple of cocktails.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 and only waited 5 minutes for three seats at the bar. Service within a minute. Drinks and food arrived quickly. Clam chowder more broth than creamy but wowed in the flavor department. Those clams had to be alive...More

Our stuffed clams tasted like burnt breadcrumbs with siracha mayo on top. The lobster roll here is the worst I've had in 3 years in Maine and my husband's burger was gross. We brought friends from out if state and we were so embarrassed and...More

My husband and I went out to dinner with friends and I read amazing reviews on Eventide. Excited to try the lobster roll, I was so disappointed to find a little uncooked bun before me, filled with shredded lobster meat. There weren't any fries or...More

Although looking like an oyster bar, its approach borrows from tapas: order a fish sandwich, and that's exactly what comes, no sides. Fine if one comes for cocktails and wants some light fare to accompany, but this gets absurdly expensive for lunch with hungry family....More

I recently traveled to Portland, Maine, and looked forward to the opportunity to dine on things unavailable in my home. Obviously, fresh seafood was on top of that list if things. I searched on TA as well as asking around, and unanimously the Eventide came...More

We visited Eventide after a show at the State Theater. Really happy to see that they are open late on a weeknight as we were hungry but didn't want fast food. The space is small and tidy with a little bar area and some tables...More

The food was incredible! Definitely a place I would visit again, even in Portland ME, the city with the highest number of restaurants per capita! It is so hard to choose my favorite dish. We tried the lobster roll, crab roll, oyster bun AND the...More

It really depends on what you get. You can easily leave there spending less than $60 for two people (with beer) but if you're looking to try a few items and oysters, it's going to be a little higher. Their menu is online so... More
