Nothing fancy about Amigos… it is a real local hangout in an area dominated by more fancy upscale restaurants that attract tourists and gourmands, Amigos is a holdout from the Old Portland… busy pool table…beer.. loud music.. Mexican eats… very affordable…friendly waitstaff...
Amigos has been a staple in the old port for over 25 years. Great drinks and bands in a safe dive bar atmosphere.

I ate here recently with some friends and would highly recommend the margaritas- I had the raspberry and it had great flavor. The chicken enchiladas I had were also good, the rice wasn't so great. We sat upstairs and it had a great atmosphere.
Wanted to play darts and shoot some pool. This place was cool. We only had drinks so I can't say much about the food. Bartender very nice and was quick to get our drinks to us. I would definitly go back here to hang out.
Amigos is ok on a Friday i go quiet often night they have two pool tables and dart boards. Its pretty cheap defanitly not anything special but it is fun when they have a band in their outdoor section! I have never gotten food there...More
The food here is awful there is way better "mexican" style food places in the area. The worst part about this place is the over flow of super annoying hipsters that flock to this place. If you want good beer and good atmosphere i recommend...More
