No fancy ingredients. No breakfast sandwiches. No gluten free options. No lattes or cold brewed coffee. Just good - no - GREAT donuts served by people who have been in the donut business since before cupcakes were cool. Truly a Portland gem. Quintessential donut shop - the kind you grew up going to.

First of all this place has such a classic donut shop feel. No frills just great donuts. The smell inside is so amazing. Molasses donuts, chocolate coconut, glazed, etc. Everything was good. It would be dangerous to live close by, because I'd be there much too often.

Tony's Donut Shop has been in the Libbytown area of Portland for years. Once you stop in for a Donut or a Pastry, you'll be hooked. They have a large variety of Donuts to choose from and the Baked Pastries are just great. Stop in once and you'll be back for more.

Tony's makes all kinds of donut concoctions, using the best old fashioned ingredients. The crullers are my favorite, with a nice crisp outside and soft inside.

Loved their chocolate glazed donuts. Had the molasses, was good but should have had it frosted. Still very good. Traditional style donuts and they also serve other pastries like eclairs and cream horns etc. It won't disappoint.

Went for coffee and a doughnut. The place is a dump and didn't look clean. The coffee was ok. I had a crullah which i hadn't seen since i eas a child. It was doughy and i threw it away after two bights.

This hole in the wall clearly serves a LOT of donuts. We just happened upon it (and we're glad we did). Not fancy (especially not fancy coffee) and no hot chocolate, but it's really not much of an "eat-in" place. There were "regulars" sitting around, however, which gave it a sense of community.

Dunkin' Donuts has great coffee, but for a real donut you've got to stop in at Tony's! A small donut shop, just off Congress Street. About 1.5 miles west from downtown. Just across from the Clarion Hotel. Nothing fancy here. A small sit-in area, coffee, and artery clogging delicious donuts! Presumably cooked in lard? The way donuts are suppose to... More

We eat it for breakfast whenever we're in Portland and bring dozen home for later. All flavors of cake donuts are delicious.
