Set near the dock or wharf with a good view of the water. We came here for a quick late lunch and enjoyed lobster rolls. We got what we came to Mane for and were pleased. Not a fine dining place but good service and nice atmosphere. Casual and comfortable. 2 lobster rolls and soft drinks came to $47 with... More

The Landings has two things going for it: location at the north side of Rockland's mixed commercial fishing/lobstering and yacht anchorage; and a chef who understands the power of bacon. Somehow, in four years of hanging out on the Maine mid-coast, I had never stepped foot into the Landings, and was pleasantly impressed with the decor (and thoughtfully spaced heaters)... More

The Landings is a place for the unique food presented with flair. Servings are small ~ just enough if one is not very hungry. Although the food was good, we would probably not return.

I would not recommend this restaurant for groups. Some in our group did not get their food until most had been served. The wait staff was extremely confused. They had to ask us what we had so the could figure the bills. Food was average.

We decided on this place based on the great reviews. Although it is a very scenic location, the food is average. We opted for the "Bucket" which offered a selection of three fish items (scallops, clams, haddock). While the scallops were excellent, the haddock was a very small portion and the clams were so-so. They said it would be sufficient... More

Early dinner of lobster with corn and fingerling potatoes. Excellent! Service was good and the food excellent. The restaurant is located on ac working dock. Plenty to see in Rockland Harbor.

I ate here for lunch recently with friends. It was a lovely early fall day so we were able to eat outside which was so pleasant. The service was very good but the food was mediocre. I ordered the BLT which sounded amazing, but was anything but. The bacon was nothing but fat and basically inedible. I will certainly return... More

Where most of Rockland's solid restaurants are on the Main street section, this one is right on the water. Can't knock the location. Very nice. Didn't see a menu outside, so just figured it would be good... It was good, but for the prices good doesn't quite cut it. Wife is the seaside fan. She steered clear of most of... More

I met two friend here for lunch. One had a seafood omelette, one had a fish sandwich and I have a salad. The salad was OK - nothing to rave about. It was the only vegan option on the menu though. The omelette thoroughly enjoyed as was the fish sandwich. But this seemed like an expensive lunch - $78 for... More

Visited with a group. Food and service was excellent! No complaints from anyone. Only minor issue was that they do not wrote separate checks, but sort it out at the cashier. Worked out OK though. Will definitely return, often!

Description
We are a family-run restaurant on the water. We opened with new ownership and management in April 2013 and are ecstatic to be in this beautiful location with an amazing staff and delicious food. We serve only fresh, local seafood and we welcome locals and those "from away"! See you soon!
