My fiancé and I stopped by after a lovely hike around Jordan pond, tempted by the lure of their famous popovers on a rainy day. The popovers were just okay, honestly. I heard a server explain to a complaining customer at the next table that...More

Each year, we start the season off with a trip to Acadia. One of the highlights has always been the Jordan Pond House. Today was the day, and we saved our appetite for lunch. What a disappointment it was. Luckily, the staff all were wonderful...More

Jordan Pond House is not to be missed, IF you can get there conveniently. Most of the less than exemplary reviews complain (justifiably) about access and long waits. Unfortunately, that’s the price of Acadia National Park’s popularity. SO, plan your visit to Jordan Pond House...More

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting. It's very popular and very large but the service was good and the popovers were delicious. They were very welcoming to our dog too!

Tried for 2 days to get in and finally made it on day 3 for lunch. Hubby had a lobster roll and I had chicken salad. Both were very good but the show stopper was the popovers and jam. We also splurged by having a...More

We stopped here while in Acadia National Park. The popovers were great. I had the lobster stew which was more bisque than stew, so I wasn't delighted. My husband had the shepherds pie which he liked. A little pricey but they know you are a...More

We were disappointed during our visit to Acadia National Park to find the surrounding restaurants were decidedly ordinary, at best. Unfortunately, the much touted Jordan's Pond House, with its long waiting lines, was not even up to those standards. While the shepherds pie was OK,...More

We didn't make reservations. I had read a previous review where someone had said they were told by the host that they only take reservations for 1/3 of the tables and they save the rest for walk in's.

Located in the heart of Acadia National Park, the Jordan Pond House has been offering lunch and dinner of over 100 years. We are best known for our always fresh from the oven popovers. In addition, we serve soup, sandwiches, salads, lobster rolls, seafood and other entrees.

We are currently closed for the 2017 season. We will be reopening in May of 2018.
