Nice atmosphere in an old building on an island in the river. Nice views. We had great service. It seats quit a fee, with room for big groups. The steak and cheese sandwich was super good. The crab salad was good, but not inspiring. The...More
We have had many lunches at the Seadog. All quite good. This last time there, something was definitely out of line. Our sandwiches were very disappointing. Hardly any corned beef in the reuben, and same with the pastrami cuban...no pastrami to speak of. When mentioned...More
I have been to the Sea Dog in Topsham many times but this is my first review of them.
I had dinner with my staff here on a quiet Wednesday night in early December. We were quickly seated, and drinks came out super fast.

Stopped here for lunch on our way north. I had a terrific salad. My husband liked his sandwich. Beer was good, barkeeper was friendly and attentive. Very hard to find -- we missed the turnoff and had to circle back toward the south. Didn't see...More
The Black Lantern B&B recommended the Sea Dog Brewery and we were glad they did. We sat facing the picturesque Androscoggin River. We ordered fish and chips and burgers. The bar food fare was delicious. The local beers were exceptional too. Overall, very pleased with...More

I believe the brunch is still under $20 and worth every penny. I'm not sure they take reservations. The quality and quantity of food is astounding. Every imaginable breakfast item offered - and also some items made to order. Meats, eggs, cheeses, hashes, fruit, fish, breads, specialty items, casseroles, sliced hot roasts, desserts and more! One of the best brunches! Get there early and enjoy the view.....
