We ate breakfast on a Thursday, and though it was not busy when we arrived, it got quite busy during our meal. The food was very good, and the service was great. Good range of choices on the menu, and our server (very friendly!) kept my coffee mug filled! Overall, we were happy with our choice to eat here.

My husband and I ate at the Maine Diner every morning over Labor Day weekend until Wednesday. Excellent food, excellent and friendly service - LOVE the Maine Diner. Will be back next year!

Guy Fieri had gone there. We wanted to find out about it. Lots of people, obviously a good sign. Food is good, but not fantastic. Excellent place for seafood and lobster. Seafood chowder was excellent.prices are decent. Dessert, if you are still hungry are homestyle.

We stopped in for their seafood chowder a few years ago and it was excellent. Last week we decided to try breakfast. Although there were 5 of us, service was fast. Pretty much standard breakfast fare is offered. The food quality was fine and so was the service. We actually stopped by at a rather quiet time, only had to... More

My wife and I are somewhat fans of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and often visit locations where they've been. When we do so, we tend to order a dish that was featured on the show. More often than not, we are pleased. So, we both ordered the lobster pie which is lobster meat in a casserole with some flavored bread... More

This was my first trip to Maine that I ate at the Maine Diner. It was so good we ate there the next day. Super friendly staff, wonderful food and excellent prices. We will definitely eat there on our yearly fall Visit to Maine. I highly recommend this diner.

But the 2's are Wild breakfast (eggs, blueberry pancakes, bacon and sausage) was an excellent choice. My husband raved about the size and taste of the very large pancakes, the bacon was crisp and meaty and the eggs were nicely done as over easy. I had the chowder sampler, found the she crab soup to have a touch too much... More

Extensive wholesome menu, friendly and attentive staff well worth a visit. 4 of us only had to wait a short time to be seated, we enjoyed it so much we returned 2 days later for breakfast

Awesome food and friendly service. Decided to try it since it was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Well worth the trip! And there is a little gift shop beside it!
