This place has been around for over 50 years and once you visit it you will be back. We have been there many, many times and will be back. The ice cream is homemade and they have lots of flavors. Whether you want a scoop,...More
Our summer home off of Nubble's Light Road is a short, beautiful walk to Brown's. Their ice cream is fresh and delicious! We love taking a walk to Brown's at Dusk when the views of the ocean and cliffs are fantastic!!
We just stopped in on a whim and hit the mother load. Maybe the best ice cream we have ever eaten. The amazing views from here are only out done by the myraid of wonderful flavors offered, Blueberry was awesome. Do not pass this treat...More
Brown's went out of business during the summer of 2015. It was an institution in York, near the Cape Neddick Lighthouse. Ice cream scoops and variety were expansive.
The ice cream is good - nothing very special though. Prices are VERY HIGH. Location is definitely a plus given its proximity to Nubble Light. But the prices and the crowd detract from its over-all appeal.
The new name is DUNNS---fantastic! The small cone is enough for 3 people!!! For $4.99, the value far exceeds the cost. DUNNS has more flavors than I thought existed. Enjoy your ice cream while viewing a spectacular view of the Nubble Lighthouse.
